You won't want to leave once you get here
You might find this site while surfing the web for accommodation but it's
main purpose is to give a little extra detail for those who have already found
us or even booked their stay.
Our guests all seem to enjoy the cottage; many of them return and some even
plan to experience all four seasons. They appreciate the facilities of the
cottage, the surroundings, the peacefulness, the privacy, the views and the town
itself. It all adds up to being able to relax here.
At the cottage
 |
This is the lounge where you'll spend most of your time.
It's air-conditioned in summer and there's heating plus a log fire in
winter. We have a TV, CD and DVD with a range of movies to choose
from. |

This is the cottage from the front but we can't guarantee
roses all year round! Our house is about 200m down the hill and you
can see a couple of other houses over the other side of the valley.
Imagine sitting out the under the verandas with great views, peaceful
seclusion and glass of wine. |

This is our pool at the house but it's available for use by
cottage guests by arrangement. It's about 200m away from the cottage and
it's solar heated for use during much of the year. Alternatively you
can take a dip in the creek! |
Things to do
There's plenty to do in the district. The immediate environs are well worth
exploring and Yackandandah is a great staging point for wineries, gourmet food,
scenic driving, four wheel driving, the Hume, the Murray River, the Alpine
district, bike riding, history...the list goes on. We have included links
to a number of relevant websites but when you get here you should also go to the
Visitor Information Centre. We've been here for four years and we never
run out of fascinating things to do.
We will look forward to seeing you here and would
appreciate any ideas to make this website more useful to our guests.
